This course summarizes the available literature related to the assessment of anorexia in the adult patient context, synthesizing both research evidence and clinical consensus guidelines.
Objectives:
a). Name one barrier to the anorexia assessment process.
b). Identify at least three considerations for the expert assessor of anorexia.
c). Discuss the importance of consulting empirical evidence when making decisions about how to assess anorexia.
